I birded the Florence area during the late morning with John Sullivan. At the
deflation plain, we found at least 15 LAPLAND LONGSPURS associating with
AMERICAN PIPITS.
Later, up the coast, I checked the "gull puddle" at the South Jetty of Yaquina
Bay in Newport and saw a single LAPLAND LONGSPUR. It was just east of 3
CACKLING GEESE.
