7:45-8:45 (10/27):
mostly overcast wind E 10-15 swells 3-5

Gulls continually moving both directions but most
trending south, inc. fairly high percentage of juveniles
for Mew, Cal, Herring, and Glaucous-winged.

Only a few distant Tubenoses

1 Peregrine Falcon (dove on a group of Bonys)

800+ Bonaparte's Gull 600+ Mew Gull 3000+ California Gull
400+ Herring Gull (many close in juv. detected)
2+ Thayer's Gull
600+ Western Gull
400+ Glaucous-winged Gull (most juv.)
1500+ Heermann's Gull (steady S)
1 Black-legged Kittiwake
1500+ Common Murre (most N)
4 Marbled Murrelet
6 Ancient Murrelet (S)
3 Cassin's Auklet (1 sitting in close, 2 S)
25 Rhinoceros Auklet (S)

Again also checked off Spanish Head at 1:30-45 and still tons of gulls - pinkfoots were doing more sitting/
feeding but many Heermann's still moving south.
