Update on Kindle book:
My earlier note indicated that one of the books was free on Kindle. Well,
apparently it was not. Amazon has changed how they deliver a sample to your
device and it wasn’t immediately apparent that I was only reading the Sample.
Sorry for any confusion.
The Sibley “What It’s Like To Be A Bird…” is not free but the sample is more
robust than other sample books. The link and pricing info as originally
indicated is still valid.

In addition, I came across another book by Sibley that others are also
recommending, “What It’s Like To Be A Bird:…” which also includes some
interesting data points that I did not know. The Kindle version of this one
is free to read via their app or at least it is for me when I look at it
using the Amazon app on my iPad and am a Prime user. If not, it looks to be
$17.69 for the Kindle version and $20 for the hardcover.
