On 3/24/16, Peyton Cook found and photographed a Chipping Sparrow at
Hatfield Lake near Bend (the Bend Sewer Ponds). This is the earliest
accepted record for this species in Central Oregon of which I know.
There is only one other record from March and it was 3/25/88.
