Same story in Manzanita. No Anna’s here; usually several are vying for a place
at our feeders. Nor have I heard ANY on my daily walks. I suspect (speculate)
that the severe weather in February (significant snow on the coast) caused high
mortality, even for this hardy species.

Hi, Yearly we have resident Anna’s Hummingbird Birds all year in Waldport,
OR. at our house. This year we have not seen any since the Rufus
Hummingbirds migration. Curious if anyone had any idea as to why? Nancy
