At 3:00 pm this afternoon at Ankeny NWR there were at least two lincoln
sparrows feeding in the grass and bushes next to the Eagle Marsh kiosk. And in
the muddy field across the road was a flock of what I believe were about 20
dunlin, feeding with large groups of green wing teal and northern pintail.
