As of about 12:30 today, Mountain Bluebirds are still around that spot. I saw 1
or 2 but a gentleman with a camera saw 5. Down Hawthorn Trail a bit -- almost
to the tree line -- there was a Say's Phoebe making flycatching sorties from a
branch, and 1 or 2 Yellow-rumped Audubon warblers. Also saw a couple of
American Kestrels and a pair of hawks that I now believe were Red-tails (At
first I though they were another species because they were so dark, but
checking field guide photos, Red tail makes more sense.)
