This afternoon I had a loose flock of 17 Snowy Plovers on Manzanita Beach,
Tillamook Co., roughly west of campground loop B of Nehalem Bay State Park.
That number may have been slightly off since they were scattered amongst
the upper beach debris and they were fairly active.
Some were color banded and some were not (I don't know exactly how many of
each); some individuals were photographed and I'll sort out what I recorded
for those monitoring their recovery.
