Our Nursing staff insist that it is a requirement.  We have managed to squeeze 
them in here at Bellevue

Would you be so kind as to put this question out to the other Directors?

Is it a requirement, law, or standard by Joint Commission, CMS, DOH or any 
other surveying body that a medication room on a nursing unit be supplied with 
a sink?

I have received conflicting answers on this from different sources.

We are installing Pyxis in our med rooms and there is no space for a sink also.
