Dear Fatima and Mesar,Thank you. I have made the translations for revision No.4732, 4733, 4745 and 4758. There is no change as regards 4739 and 4756.
Kindly confirm whether it is OK. Thanks, DINAKAR On 10/11/2011 04:21 PM, fatma mehanna wrote:
hi, i hope this explanation helps. rev 4732: a modification to this line. as the log message says User Guide: Specify the x86 version of the Microsoft Speech Platform runtime. before the x86 wasn't mentioned. so you should add this notification. +- Microsoft Speech Platform - Server Runtime (Version 10.2), x86: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=10208 rev4733: correcting a gramatical error and adding a line to tell the user if he/she installed the braille display driver with another screen reader, they should install it again in case there are requirements need to be installed. as for rev7439, it is a t2t error format, so we don't need to modify it as it was an error in the english user guide. as for rev 4745, there are some modifications in the advances topics sections. just improve your translation to be matched with the new lines. they just added more clarafications. as for rev4756, there is a small modification to the general features section. just to inform the user that the ui automation is working under windows7 and later. so you will add this information to the same line that's talking about this issue. as for the last revision, 4758, there was a typo in writing the word setting. so fix it in your user guide if it needs to be. note, as mesar mentioned, the plus sign indicates that there is a new line should be added. the line may not be completely new, but some words may be added or there is a small typo fix, so you should look at the line carefully. thanks. I also verified with the userguide.t2t file and find all the items specified in the diff.txt files have already been translated. In some places, I have left the English words untouched as they are denoting name of a component or a web site. For example, in 4732, the two lines refer to the components used in Microsoft Speech Platform and therefore, I have copied the English text as such. I am not able to understand as to what I have to do? Where can I find it? DINAKAR On 09/11/2011 08:35 PM, Mesar Hameed wrote:Dear Dinakar, 4659 is the one you kindly translated completely. I deleted the diff.txt and wdiff.txt from 4659 so that they would not confuse the matter when you were translating the complete userguide. It is the other numbers that are outstanding, so please start from 4732. Thanks. Only the two files viz., ug-stats.txt and userGuide.t2t are available. What should I do? DINAKAR On 08/11/2011 04:27 PM, Mesar Hameed wrote:Hi, in it/ug-diffs, you will see many revision numbers. 4590 is the one from 2011.2 so you should start from 4598 Inside 4598, you will find diff.txt you can see one new subsection and some text has been added. (microsoft speech platform in this example) open your userguide, and find the right place, and translate this new section. When you finish with this one, then you can do the same for 4625. When you finish working for today, please commit, and say completed ug 4598 4625 etc. Diff format is like this: if there is a plus at the start of the line, then this line has been added. If there is a minus at the start of the line, then this line has been deleted. For example in 4598, you see that the microsoft speech platform section, all lines have plus so they are all new and should be added to your language. Also sometimes it is useful to read the commit message when the userguide changed, you can find it in log.txt for 4598 it says: The SAPI 5.4 driver is actually for the Microsoft Speech Platform. Rename it accordingly. Also add info to the User Guide. Every 10 minutes the commit bot will check if any t2t files have changed, and automatically commit a new html file so that you can look at it if you want. If there is something that you can think of to make work better and faster your suggestion is welcome. Thank you for asking. Fortunately, I know the work will not be so big, but, which is the best method to check all changes from 2011.2? thanks a lot.
