oh, another Italian user on this space... :)
The problem is in manifest.ini, under locale\it, that is not properly
encoded. You can download a version without this problem from Italian
NVDA site (plugin section) or open the package with 7-zip, find the
file, open it with Notepad++, set encoding to UTF-8 from menu format,
correct the accented letter on line 6, save and confirm the archive update.
But I'm studing Python and seeking something to add to NVDA I found
this project:

hmm, interesting... but, as readme says, this is a solution only for a
specific, very simple case of CAPTCHA...
