As far as I know, no screen reader scripts have ever been developed for cubase, so I presume that there's nno programatic way to get info from its GUI.

As for sound forge, I fully agree, even I am no longer using it.
Some paid jaws scripts, with trial available, can be found at:
http://www.heartofiowa.net/~snowman/scripts.html
They may serve as a model of what needs to be fixed.

Hi all,
For our audio producers: as you know, besides GoldWave, Sound Forge is used
for high-quality audio production. As there are JAWS scripts for Sony's
Sound Forge, I'd like to propose an app module for Sound Forge for NVDA.
For Sound Forge users: can you tell us where we can download a trial copy,
what parts of the program are not accessible and/or need improvement, and
if
you are willing to test drive the app module as the development progresses? Also, please speak to other Sound Forge users to see if they are interested
in helping with this app module.
For potential authors: I'd like to suggest that an add-on newbie take on
this challenge, as this project may teach you valuable things about Python
and NVDA core at the same time. If you need technical assistance, please
feel free to ask for support and guidance.
Thanks.
Cheers,
Joseph
