It is with sadness I share the news of the passing of Dr. Sandra DeLoatch, long
time member and supporter of NTA Hampton Roads Chapter. Dr. DeLoatch was a dear
friend, mentor, teacher and colleague of many. She served the university as
Computer Science Department Chair, Dean of the College of Science, Engineering
and Technology, Acting President, and Provost. For several years she partnered
with the chapter to host our Student Symposium.
Sandra died peacefully last Tuesday. Her life will be celebrated tomorrow,
Tuesday April 24th at East End Baptist Church in Suffolk at 11 am, with
