These positions will be filled in the Division of Finance (DOF).  DOF provides 
our stakeholders with accounting, financial and employee services that support 
and enhance their ability to make effective and sound business decisions 
impacting their organization, the Corporation, the bank industry, and/or the 
public.

Candidates selected for these internship positions are expected  to report to 
duty and attend New Employee Orientation on one of the following dates: June 2, 
2014; June 16, 2014; or June 30, 2014.

As an intern in DOF, the duties assigned are contingent upon the type of 
internship.  The internships offered and duties assigned to that internship are 
listed below:

Controller Internship:  The DOF Controller ensures integrity of financial data 
and operations, provides accurate and meaningful reporting and analysis, 
oversees corporate accounting and tax policy, and coordinates the operation and 
maintenance of New Financial Environment (NFE).

Assessment Internship:  DOF's Assessments is responsible for collecting deposit 
insurance assessment premiums; developing and implementing corporate policies 
and procedures related to the assessment process; and verifying that assessment 
base reporting is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, 
procedures, and instructions.

Financial Operations Internship:  DOF's Financial Operations is responsible for 
managing the DIF's cash and investments, processing vendor and employee 
payments, collecting receivables, administering the FDIC's travel and 
relocation programs, and managing access to and coordinating the operation and 
maintenance of DOF's financial systems.

Corporate Planning and Performance Management Internship:  DOF's Corporate 
Planning and Performance Management's primary responsibilities center on 
coordinating a corporate-wide strategic planning process that establishes 
specific goals and performance targets, including the annual budget formulation 
and execution for the Corporation each year, administering a performance 
monitoring and reporting process that assesses actual performance against these 
goals and targets, and administering the DOF internal controls program.

Corporate Management Control Internship:  DOF's CMC is responsible for 
corporate wide management of internal controls and operational risk by 
maintaining partnerships with the Divisions and offices providing training 
addressing identified internal control deficiencies and servicing as risk 
managers on various IT and program development projects.
