Leela already knows this, but I want to reassure you all that even though I
will not be there again tonight, I am still in the group! I've just had
one-time things come up both of these weeks that made me decide to use two
of my 3 excused absences to attend them. I'll see you on Sunday and at
subsequent rehearsals as far as I know right now. Enjoy tonight!

Wikipedia are great sources, yet they come through the perspective of the
writer.Taking that into consideration, it's important for us to find ways
to interpret poetry as relevant to our experience and also pulls up the
work to its highest aesthetic potential. This exerpt from the the article
is a wonderful synopsis of her work,"it becomes increasingly evident that
a large number of Swenson's radiant nature poems are also love poems. Her
shaped verses, elaborately designed spacing and quasi-mathematical forms
are love letters to Creation itself.
I've attached a guide which might help us understand the complexities and
depth of what engaging on several levels with a work of art involves.
Perhaps we can explore some of these individually and as a group.
