Here's the info on tree work that I shared earlier this year:
I've used a number of different firms over the last 25 years to remove dead
branches from my trees and, on a couple of sad occasions, to remove trees
completely.
Recently, I needed to remove two large oaks, one of which was in the back
corner of my property and a bit of a challenge to reach.
I received estimates from four companies:
- Chapingo: $10,140
- Zack Zamudio: $9,500
- Adirondack: $6,600
- Walt's Tree Service: $4,500
Walt's also came highly recommended from a neighbor. I hired them -- and
I'm glad I did. They did an outstanding job of removing the trees with no
damage to other trees, shrubs, or property, and they thoroughly cleaned the
site when they were done.

We also need a handyman to see if we can fix the handle of our front
screen door - don't know if it can be fixed or needs to be replaced. I
think it's too small a job for George Harper and we've had a bad experience
with Rodney Washington. Any other recommendations?
