Folks,
Doesn't Belle Zeigler Park require a rental, in other words,
a connection to the City? If so, we would do well to turn our voices
to the Recreation or appropriate dept. to hold users accountable
for the mess they make, e.g. have a "clean up" deposit that the
renters may or may not get back.
I strongly suggest we take this to the City department,
or our Takoma Park City Council to pass such a fee
if it doesn't already exist.
Knowledge, feedback, folks?

The crack is why they’re replacing it. Public Works was supposed to receive
replacement parts by end of August from what I had been told.

I inquired about this some years ago. The city seems to take a
laissez faire attitude about this. I don't think you need to reserve and
there is no fee as far as I am aware. At a minimum signs should be posted
about cleaning up trash.
The party was as big as any I have seen, probably well over 50 in
attendance. Lots and lots of cars. The city did just come by and empty
the trash cans, as I have seen them do many times in the past on the
weekends.
Some years ago at the beginning of a very hot weekend, some folks were
having a crab feast in the pavilion. I suggested that they take their crab
pickings with them as the smell would have been awful after a couple of
days in the hot sun. They did not take my suggestion and left them there.

No, not a large dog, but powered subwoofer that I have used with my stereo
system for the past 15 years. It is a Velodyne DPS-10.
We recently got rid of that system in an attempt to downsize, but the kids
did not want a subwoofer. Works perfectly — only used with the stereo
system and not in a home theatre, but I should work fine in that
application as well. Let me know if you are interested and I can leave it
on the front porch (on Baltimore). Free.
