mutiple-block length of Piney Branch Road. And Takoma Avenue gets nowhere
near the traffic tfat Piney Branch, the pack mule of Takoma Park, gets.
Obviously, TPPD was overwhelmed ladt evening.
May I propose:
1. Quadrupling their budget for “Road Closed” signs and traffic cones.
2. Investing in some stationary strobe warning lights that can
warn oncoming traffic of danger ahead,
3: Adding some bright element to those black police uniforms (and I hope
to God they are not polyester because they must be sweltering in those).
The black uniforms render them literally invisible in low light and at
night — dangerous for them especially.
