The Pennyworth Thrift Shop is now open on Sundays!
- *Hours: *9:00-11:00 a.m, 12:00-2:00 p.m.
- *Location:* 1607 Grace Church Rd in Silver Spring
- *Parking: *It's free! Your best bet is to park in the back of the
church parking lot, which is located behind the church. The Pennyworth door
is on the ground level in Grace House, the brick building near the back of
the parking lot -- follow the signs!
Pennyworth also accepts donations (but no clothes or electronics, please).
If you haven't heard of Pennyworth... "For nearly 70 years, the Pennyworth
Thrift Shop has provided an important service to the Silver Spring
community by offering household goods, home decor, accessories, toys, and
books at affordable prices. Each year this ministry of Grace Episcopal
Church contributes money and merchandise to local, national, and
international social service organizations. By encouraging recycling,
Pennyworth also protects our environment."
