*Takoma Park Yard Sales, May 14-15: various locations around Takoma Park*
After a pandemic hiatus, Takoma Park's community-wide
yard/porch/garage/sidewalk/rummage sales are back! How it works: You
choose the day and time of your yard sale and we'll help get the word out.
Free to participate and you do what you want with the proceeds. As a
bonus, the *Takoma Flea Market *on Grant Ave (10am-4pm) and *Takoma Porch*
* Concerts* (2-6pm) will both be on *Sat, May 14,* so there will be even
more reasons to walk around our community and meet neighbors.
It's easy and free to participate in these community-wide yard sales: Send
an email with the info below to tkpkyardsales@xxxxxxxxx by *Mon, May 9*:
- Date(s) and times:
- Rain date (optional):
- Address:
- Short description of items for sale (e.g., antiques, furniture,
toddler-preschool boys clothing, CDs, non-fiction books, etc. If proceeds
will go to a charity, you might also want to note that):
- Form of payment accepted, e.g., cash only, Venmo, credit card, etc.
We will also send you some tips for how to organize and host a great yard
sale, including ideas for what to do with remaining items, e.g., pick up by
a local charity.
