Marcella - this sounds like an amazing idea. Thank you for keeping the fun
spirit of takoma park alive and well. I know our kiddos and the neighborhood
kids will love it. I’ll spread the word with folks in our area that aren’t on
this list. This is why I love TKPK, we all support each other’s ideas to make
sure our children come first!

Please join us in your most patriotic attire. Bring your kids, your wagons,
your mini-flags and whatever instruments you can find around the house. You
could even come as a classic Takoma Park parade float if you are feeling
particularly nostalgic.
We will plan to gather in Belle Ziegler Park around 9am and we will begin
parading North East on Takoma Avenue at 9:30 sharp to beat the inevitable
heat.
