Hi, Finally got a current photo of my favorite feeder bird. A gorgeous yellow-bellied sapsucker visits the suet nearly every day, along with downies, a red-bellied woodpecker and scads of cardinals...also the familiar titmouse, white-throats, English sparrows, occasionally a house finch and mourning doves. This morning, I saw my first towhee of the season. I've seen fewer birds than usual during winter walks at Dameron's Marsh, Hickory Hollow and Hughlett Point, although last week, I watched the moonrise at Hughlett and was enchanted to listen to a pair of invisible owls hooting at regular intervals. The robins are certainly behaving as though spring is around the corner. Joanne C, Wicomico Church
