Subject: Our first Osprey sighting today
My husband and I were birding on a car ride to Fleeton, VA this afternoon and
we stopped at Shell Landing boat launch area and we spotted an Osprey on a well
built nest. The nest is in a crow's nest that Captain Lowery owned across from
the parking lot. I was happy to see the Osprey knowing Spring can't be far
behind even though at home in Reedville this morning we had snow.
