Hi Joanna,
Just as an FYI, we agreed to cancel the August workshop due to changes that
needed to be made to prepare for the upcoming NJCA Fall Conference, to rest,
and to revamp for my year as president.  We will resume in September for our
next meeting.
No August meeting.
Please let's stay in contact so that we can be on the same page to keep the
members and Board informed.

After three years of service as secretary, I have decided to step down when
elections run again this summer for NJCA division leadership roles. It has been
an honor to hold this position and to advance our division!

Even though I love you all, I have had a growing sense for months that I have
given all the gifts and talents I have to offer in this role.  I want to honor
my intuition's sense of completion about my contributions.

Additionally, I am increasingly having to work on Saturdays and missing our
meetings, which I don't think is right for a person holding a leadership role
in our division.  I am ready to hand the role off to give someone else a chance
to serve who can offer fresh insights and energy, and who has more Saturday
availability.

I am making the announcement early in order to give other folks a chance for
the next few months to consider if they might like to step into this role.  If
you are thinking about it and have questions about what might be involved,
please feel free to reach out to me.  I am leaving shortly for a conference but
I will check messages when I return.

A big thank you to Joanna for taking attendance and minutes at this Saturday's
meeting! I will be working.
