I shot it in the rotunda at work, which serves as the main entrance for the 
company in Carlsbad. We normally have some kind of gemstones and/or jewelry on 
display all the time. Right now the them is gold.

And I misspoke, it's not graining, but granulation. It's by an artist from 
Italy. He does a lot of pieces like this. In fact, the museum director asked me 
to shoot the display cases of his work because she had been describing it as 
being a great place to be on display because the light is so beautiful in that 
area. I shot some this morning, but I'm going to shoot next week when the time 
has shifted and the light is better early in the morning.

I'll have more information later to share.
