Jakarta-based,five-year project (2016-2021) implemented by Chemonics
International incollaboration with Kemitraan and Wildlife Conservation Society.

USAIDBIJAK seeks applications for an OperationsOfficer, he/she will take a lead
role in carrying out mainly Procurement (70%)and other administrative tasks on
Human Resources (30%) mainly the recruitmentof short-term consultants.

KEYRESPONSIBILITY
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of project administration
includingarranging travel, processing travel clearances, and fielding
consultants.
- Assist Operations Manager in hosting project visitors andarranging meeting
details with support from Administrative Assistant.
- Liaise with program team to determine their product andservice needs on a
monthly basis.
- Liaise with local subcontractors, particularly regardinginvoice submission
and coordination of other administrative matters.
- Supports Operations Manager to provide cursoryadministrative reviews of
local subcontractor agreement, invoices, etc.
- In charge in STTA recruitment once the candidate isidentified; collecting
the employment evidences, reference checks, prepare thefirst draft of USAID EBD
form/biodata and its verification.
- Serve as leader of administration and logistic in the eventshosted by
BIJAK; ensure all preparations are complete and the coordination withvenue
team/event organizer is clear to have a smooth event.
- Provide administrative support to the Chief of Party, DeputyChief of Party
and Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree preferably with specialization in management.
- Minimum of four years of working experience in clerical,
administrative,procurement and office management.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in the procurement and
recruitmentfield, preferable with USAID projects or INGOs.
- Knowledgeablein office administration and basic financial systems.
- Effectiveverbal and written communication skills.
- Excellentinterpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellentattention to detail.
- Canwork cooperatively and effectively with others and has the ability to
undertakeself-directed tasks when necessary.
