Decided to make up some bait today--molasses, brown sugar, a banana and one
Bud Light--and was rewarded tonight with 4 species and 8 individuals:
Eupsilia morrisoni (Morrison's Sallow): 4
Eupsilia vinulenta (Straight-toothed Sallow): 1
Grote's Pinion (Lithophane grotei): 2
Lunate Zale (Zale lunata): 1
I had no moths at my porch lights. This is the first time I've tried bait
since September; don't know why I didn't try this earlier. Balmy tonight:
overcast with temps 45-49 degrees.
