To all:Here is a link to my moth images taken at the Serra Bonita Preserve, Bahia, Brazil on October 8-9 2011. I have not attempted to identify any of the many species shown here but at least some will be immediately recognizable to family. There are a few other insects as well. All of these images were taken at the private reserve owned by Dr. Vitor Becker, a well-known Brazilian lepidopterist and moth specialist.
I consider the two nights we spent at the reserve one of the highlights of my trip to Brazil--I only wish we could have spent several weeks there. An amazing place with a truly astonishing variety of moths.
