No, Hugh, the photo was not stretched, but the moth was situated at an odd angle from where I was able to take the photo. That made the moth look distorted, I am sure.

That's the strangest lookng M phylla I have ever seen. Did the photo get stretched horizontally?

I just ID'd a photo from a couple of nights back -- Lacosoma chiridota, Hodges 7659, a lifer for me. I attached a photo, but the quality is pretty poor. At least it was enough to allow me to make an ID. I also had what I think is Meganola phyla, photo attached. Activity is picking up a bit, along with variety.
