As far as FB goes, Kyle needn't worry about the upload/organization issue. I 
use Picasa for that and only upload to FB those photos I want to post which is 
quite easy to do.  

I find the FB moth group far superior to the listserve for the reasons Jackie 
mentioned. I enjoy the continuous postings from all over the country (less so 
the international ones and there probably should be a separate group for 
those). I don't think the listserve has critical mass in terms of number of 
participants and don't see that changing anytime soon. Like everyone else my 
time is limited, and I can't post everywhere. There is a lot more feedback from 
posts on FB and that along with the diversity of posts and the time factor are 
the main reasons I've stopped posting photos on the listserve. 

Some may have privacy issues with FB. With the recent revelations about the NSA 
snooping on all digital transmissions, I really don't think it matters anymore. 
If you use a computer or a cell phone, you really don't have any privacy in 
today's world. 

That's my two cents on the matter.
