with one of us, knowing things are so bad here. People need to understand
that every area is different. It varies not just from state to state. but
city to city, and even county to county. My sister-in-law is had to put an
indefinite hold on her hip replacement because of the lack of hospital beds
and surgeons. People have died from waiting for medical services in spots
all over the country. They say Covid is on a slight decline but you
wouldn't know it if you lived here. We keep taking overflow patients from
Idaho and other neighboring states, which makes it even worse for those who
live here.
Leaving now to get my Covid booster. Dreading the side effects.......
Bruce is lucky, all he gets is a sore arm.

That is so crazy to me. I have a friend who was in the hospital here in
redding and she said there were so many empty beds, even had her own room.
And it was very quiet. I wonder if she can go to northern California?

they think is a possible pending bowel rupture. This is an extremely urgent
situation, and they can't find a bed for her *anywhere*. So far, no open
beds can be found at any hospital in Tacoma, here in Puyallup or Seattle so
they are branching out even further. And to make matters even more
complicated, it might be difficult to find an available surgeon. They may
have to air lift her if she has to go too far away. Her mom has been with
her all day, and they won't allow her fiancé in because only 1 person can
come in.....not just one at a time, just one person, period. Janelle's son
and daughter are hysterical with worry. THIS is what Covid has done to our
region, our hospitals are housing Covid patients from as far away as Idaho
right now.....
