They finally got her a bed not far from here. This is just unreal, having
something like this happen. Freaks me out if anything went really wrong with
one of us, knowing things are so bad here. People need to understand that every
area is different. It varies not just from state to state. but city to city,
and even county to county. My sister-in-law is had to put an indefinite hold on
her hip replacement because of the lack of hospital beds and surgeons. People
have died from waiting for medical services in spots all over the country. They
say Covid is on a slight decline but you wouldn't know it if you lived here. We
keep taking overflow patients from Idaho and other neighboring states, which
makes it even worse for those who live here.
Leaving now to get my Covid booster. Dreading the side effects....... Bruce is
lucky, all he gets is a sore arm.

That is so crazy to me. I have a friend who was in the hospital here in redding
and she said there were so many empty beds, even had her own room. And it was
very quiet. I wonder if she can go to northern California?

situation, and they can't find a bed for her anywhere. So far, no open beds can
