We have been fighting with the park for several years about these trees. They
tower over us on all side of our house. They will not take a tree down unless
its found to be diseased and they told us it's our job to maintain everything
on our lot. Two of the trees literally lean over our house. So, we're supposed
to climb 80-100+ or so foot trees and keep them trimmed? Or spend thousands to
hire a tree service to do it, on trees this lot came with in the first place? I
don't think so.
A neighbors tree damaged our roof a few years ago but it was minor so Bruce
patched it himself. The branch came off an enormous pussy will tree so it
wasn't very large. But we have gigantic deodoras, pine and fir trees all around
us, and we've had some of those come down and they are huge heavy branches.
It's very dangerous to be out here in a wind storm, and you don't walk under
them if they are laden with snow either.
These are the 3 trees out front that we worry about...... and our back yard is
completely lined by pines and firs that tower about 100 feet or so high.
