Riley was..a Dutch Dwarf. I never used butt paste, but would avoid getting the
Desitin into the fur if at all possible. I would use a very thin
layer. Would the paste spread more easily if it were warm? I wonder
if it becomes even thicker with the colder weather. I would fit it at least two
days to see if it helps. Please keep us posted.</span>

How thin of a layer of butt paste? It’s so thick to try and spread. Butt
paste is getting into surrounding fur and causing Mats which then cause redness
of the skin. The butt paste didn’t cleAr up the redness overnight anyway so not
sure it’s helpful
