a honey bee, I was just trying to be helpful actually. But felt you

and sugar water. Today my mission is to source clean plants/flowers for
him. That food you found on Amazon is specific to honey bees, not other
species. Honey bee keepers sometimes use that to help build up their
colonies in late winter or early spring when not a lot of blooms are
available to them. This little guy is drinking water and I have seen him in
the pollen dish so with the addition of flowers, he will have all the food
sources he needs. 🙂

sitting in a pile of ground up pollen I ran thru my bullet.....its locally
sourced pollen. I do hope there is nothing wrong with him and that I can
provide enough to meet his needs. I will be contacting local nurseries to
see if they have any organic/untreated flowering plants on hand. There is
just not enough of anything blooming to sustain him by running around and
picking flowers this time of year here in the PNW. My hellebores are winter
bloomers but not until towards the end of December. Fingers crossed!

of bee stuff I was tossing out after I cleaned out the reeds and processed
all the cocoons. I gave him some sugar water and ground up bee pollen for
tonight and he is drinking a lot right now. Poor thing, he wouldn't survive
if I put him outside. [image: 🙁] I will have to scrounge for whatever
flowers I can source to keep him alive.... I kept a bee my first year, she
was born without wings so I made her a habitat to live in. I can do it
again for this little one....
