For the upcomming new Twinki version: Is it possible to do it like this: - The modified firmware hasonly some samller, minor modifications; a cleaned up firmware with no extra features but as small and lightweight as it can be - The meain changes are stored on one of the hardrives itself; one the dic is mounted the firmware check for the existens of a special script and starts it; this script does the main modifications, adds the new functions and changes the configuration Doing it this way you don't have to always flash anew firmware. Simply put it on the harddrive (or USB stick) and reboot the NAS. Further, the devlopment process should be a lot faster this way. Once you have a stable "basic" firmware. Regards, Tom
