Thank you very much. I totally agree.
You are the unofficial coordinator & excluding a player because another player
has issues with that player does not seem appropriate. We have responsibility
for ourselves.
Let’s go have some fun!!

This is a special note about the PB group that plays three days a week in
Montague and two days a week at the Y in Yreka. I think it would be good to
review how PB got started in this area and by whom. This all began at the
Ford Garage in the office of Jim Wilson when he and I sat down and decided to
get PB going in this area. At first we were going to play at the tennis
courts in Yreka; however, we encountered some resistance from the local
tennis players, so we migrated out to Montague and asked the Montague city
council if we could make arrangements to play on their tennis courts. We did
receive a little resistance from a supposed tennis player, but that was soon
dispelled and we began play at the Montague courts.
We have been playing in Montague ever since, and for the most part I have
been the one that reminds our players to come play. Jerry Guse has helped me
out in the winter when I have been down south. The point in reviewing all of
this, is to remind everyone that we do not have an organized group and we do
not have a representative that can tell people in our group what to do.
Everyone is welcome to play. If a member of our group finds that they do not
want to play with another member, they do not need to do so.
None of our members have the right to tell another member of our group that
they can no longer play with our group! In conclusion I want to make it clear
that everyone is welcome to play.
Thank you,
Jerry Churchill
