Hi all,
My name is philipp,
I make my living fixing any problem people could have with their
machines - hardware, software or networking.
I am age 38, living in germany. My first intensive contact with a
computer was a commodore - if I remember correct, it was a called
8032, at age of 20, participating in developing a kind of accounting
software.
I then studied a few terms physics, then informatic, then founded a
small company doing computer consultancy and selling machines - which
a few month ago has gone chapter 11 and now is out of business.
Since now my company is gone, I have time to remember my software
developing skills, so I started to develop a mac OSX wrapper for
mpgtx and also try to develop mpgtx further.
In my free time I manage a network of mklinux, linuxppc and i386linux
machines which all together build an internet business.
I hope this group will help to close the gap between mac and windoze
(multi)media applications.
There is enough interesting linux stuff to port to osx for years. why
not start it now.
