I'd love to call her, but wouldn't want to video call on skype unless it was
something she was okay with!
I haven't responded to the message as I would also like to know your collective

Hi All,
We read the message in red at the end of the last update from the care home.
Just wondered whether any of you have Skyped with Mutti recently.
If so, how does she react to this and is it something worth doing?
Do the staff mind setting it up? I know they must be incredibly busy.
Some people say that those with dementia can't understand why their relative is
on the telly or they find it hard to engage with them that way.
It would be really helpful to know what we all think, whether Mutti would enjoy
this way of communicating and how we/the staff would coordinate it so they are
not bombarded.
