Being new to OSx myself....
Apparently OSX has three font folders. The one you want to use is, i
think, the one in your USER folder, at least, and not the one in the
system Folder. The third folder is shared fonts, and believe it or not,
you may not have sharing access to that folder. In fact, you might check
that you have access to thUser fonts folder too.
