To me I find Forums much easier to use and they can be hosted at free sites with the software provided for free. What I like about them is that you set it up that you have various topics of interest, i.e. we could have Hardware and then sub-categories like notebooks, desktops, accessories etc., then an iLife Forum with the various applications as sub-categories. These places allow you to link image files into your postings. When it has been around long enough it will be a valueable resource as you can easily browse topics of interest and they have a very effective search function. One such place that provides forums like that is: http://www.forumsland.com/free-forum-hosting.html Gerhard On Mar 18, 2008, at 4:22 PM, doug rogers wrote: Begin forwarded message: It would be a good idea to have a few of us research options to present to the group. In the past, I have been part of both Google and Yahoo groups. No problems I can think of as a user and participant. They both required membership in the form of having an active account. I never used the yahoo or google account for email. Even with that account, I still used my regular email address for receiving mail. The thing I like about them is that others can search for groups like ours so we might attract a few more members. ----------------------------------------------------------- MUGLO information at <http://www.freewebs.com/muglo> Manage list subscription options at <//www.freelists.org/list/muglo> -----------------------------------------------------------
