I checked the MUGLO archives and see that Mary Read and Doug Rogers have both provided feedback on my email from yesterday. Thanks very much for your input--very helpful. However, I only know you responded because I checked the MUGLO archives. I turned off my MUGLO digest mode shortly after I sent my email yesterday, but have not yet received any MUGLO emails. At any rate, I have followed up on Mary¹s and Doug¹s suggestions and have also been looking into the iWeb replacement issue. As mentioned, http://www.macmost.com has some videos on iWeb alternatives. So far there are videos for Google Sites, WordPress and Blogger, and more are supposed to be in the works. Doug: I know you suggested awhile back that I go the blog route for my site, but I actually have an anonymous Google Blogger site that I¹ve been using since April. I do not think my http://www.leithpeterson.ca would adapt well to the blog format. Giles Turnbull has a useful site regarding iWeb replacements: http://www.cultofmac.com/what-to-do-with-your-iweb-site/100809. Even more alternatives are listed there, including Weebly, Squarespace, Jimdo and Flux. One commenter on this site spoke very highly of Weebly (http://www.weebly.com) so I¹ve been following on that.
