Errol,

First, check if they have been de-selected somehow: go View - Toolbars -
those that have been selected, will have a checkmark; now check the ones
you want.

If, for some reason, they are not available, try this:

1. Close down Word, but first check where your template "Normal.dot" is
stored: go Tools - Options - File Locations; you will see the path under
User templates)
3. Start Word
2. Rename the "Normal.dot" template to, say, NormalOld.dot
3. Start Word

If you have macros, toolbars, and other customized items in your old
Normal.dot, you may need to use Word's Organizer to copy them into the new
one that will be created when you restart Word.

Hope this works

Svend
