Kim,
What printer do you have? Is it attached locally (LPT or USB),
shared on another computer, or networked?
My first two guesses would be bad memory or hard drive with
questionable sectors. Run scandisk with all switches checked (the scan will
have to run on startup, so I would suggest you restart the computer when you
are not going to be using it for a while). I would also check that the cable
to the printer is properly seated, even if it appears to be tight on both
ends, unplug the ends and replug them in to the proper places. Maybe even
replace the cable.
Dan

Subject: [mso] outlook printing error

When printing some html messages from Outlook, a colleague gets an
error message that Outlook has encountered an error and needs to
close. Often, printing the same message later the same day results in
no errors. Sometimes the error occurs when printing a web page.

The printer driver has been replaced. Office has been reinstalled -
Office 2003, Exchange server, Windows XP.

I have searched the PC for viruses and spyware, and found nothing
except a few cookies. In the past the PC has been rebuilt - software
removed and installed from scratch - to try and fix this problem. But
the problem returned.

Is there a fix for this? I have checked web pages but havent found
anything useful.
