Linda,
I switched over to the 2003 format a few months ago (prior to that I had
been using the 2002 format on 2003). I switched fro two reasons:
1) I was close to, if not at, the size limit
2) I was having a number of very weird Outlook crashes. (I even posted about
a few of them, I think.)

Since I switched, I have had no crashes. However, your question made me
think about the timing. I now wonder if my email problems (the not going/not
getting random messages) are related to the swap. It started before then,
but did get a little worse about that time.

Thanks for the info, Neil and James. Is anyone using the 2003 format? And
if so, any other benefits besides size? When I switched, there was *some*
reason I stuck with the 2002 format and now I can't remember what it was lol
