Well....maybe I have jet lag and I'm tired, so I'm not sure exactly what you
want to do. So, I'm gonna give you some tips and see if this gets you
started, then I'm heading off to bed.

Let's say you have an entry in cell B10 on a sheet called Properties and you
want whatever is put in that cell to also show up in cell A1 on a sheet
named Savings.....so, in the sheet named Savings, click in cell A1 and type
this:

=Properties!B10

Now, whatever you put in B10 in the Properties sheet will also be shown in
A1 in the Savings sheet.

Or, if you wanted cell A2 in the Savings sheet to show what was in B10 in
the Properties sheet, minus 100, for example, click in cell A2 in the
Savings sheet and enter this formula

=Properties!B10-100

I'm not sure if this is close to what you are looking for, so let me know if
this doesn't help you at all and I'll take another stab at it tomorrow when
I'm more awake...LOL

Nitey nite

Well sort of both. But also I'm wondering if there is a way to get a
line item to duplicate itself from the bank account worksheet, which is
where I will do the data entry, into the worksheet about the specific
property. One of the "fields" in the bank account worksheet is the
property the transaction pertains to, so I wanted to see if that field
entry could trigger an automatic entry into another worksheet about that
property only, so I could have a separate list of all the transactions
related to each property. Does that make sense?
