hi #

sorry abouut not replying to the list, the solution ot the line and fill
colour boxes being greyed out, and removing highlighting. I have located as
suggested the highlighting tool and this has removed the colour, and the other
two problems relating to line and fill colour, relates to the formatting of
borders , especially the shading, and the use of text boxes. As a numeratisit
i do not always get involved with the finer points of word, although am quite
involved with the use of formuilas in excel.

once again, oplease accept my apologies for not replying toi the list

ann

Ann, it's usually appreciated if you share the answer with the list in case
someone else faces the same problem. You know the 2 way street thing?
