Beth....it must be some style you have set for italics.
Check the styles in Format>Styles and see if one of them has italics
attached to it and remove that.

Hi,
Lately when I am working in Word - and I begin to type some of my letters
and
words are in italic - and I don't have that option on. I can write one or
two sentences and then the format goes to regular type - without me doing
anything. Then it repeats itself in a new paragraph. Any suggestions as
to
why this is happening?
