Just guessing that you have a renegade style roaming your
document(s)...possibly a character style or something you've
accidentally "chained" up?
If you don't understand styles...this article might help:

You should check out your Format/Styles dialog and see what styles are
in use and check those that are through the style formatting dialog for
unusual settings????

Hi,
Lately when I am working in Word - and I begin to type some of my
letters and
words are in italic - and I don't have that option on. I can write one
or
two sentences and then the format goes to regular type - without me
doing
anything. Then it repeats itself in a new paragraph. Any suggestions
as to
why this is happening?
