Think about it.  The symbol "c/o" is not a plain text character.  It should not
matter what program you are using as an editor, everything in a plain Text
email must be a plain Text character that can be typed from the keyboard.

I don't know how to tell if it uses Word when I change the format to plain
text ... it does appear to though, cuz all the toolbars and formatting
options from Word are still there, just greyed out. Maybe someone else
knows.

I haven't seen any real "wrinkles" it causes, but Word just seems
like
overkill to me when it comes to email, so I never used it before, but now I
seem to be stuck with it.

(I'm really sorry to read about your lost cat, James ... not to mention
your
stroke and accident. When it rains, it pours, eh?)

======================================
It works in Outlook 2007 becuz that version of Outlook always uses Word as
it's email editor ... to make it work in other versions of Outlook, you
would have to choose Word as your email editor.

Thank you. I did not know that O2007 always used Word.

Does it use Word even for plain text email?

Does that create any wrinkles?
